Made a Sam's Club run in the '62 Rampy this afternoon and got the usual stares, thumbs up and "Man, that is nice!" comments:

Not so much in use as disturbed from its slumber. Wagon was put away for the year along with my '60 Monza. Then our water line burst under the garage the other day. I have great neighbors that offered me spots for the cars while the line was replaced, even a garage spot. Had to clear out the garage and piles of parts. Almost back to normal now.

I drive my '65 to work once a week. its about 50 miles round trip. I try and park away from the potential door dings. Driving it to work is the highlight of my week.

This is Cutevair. My wife is in the photo in our home State of New Mexico during the time I was still working on the paint. It takes a lot of time to apply metal flake. The blue ralley panels are done in .25 boat flake over HOK Shimmering Lapis, panels are trimmed in House of Kolor black pearl. The overall is arctic white with HOK ice pearl white. The rear cove is in black pearl as is the front as well. The spoiler is a fitted to contour 1987 firebird piece. The chevy emblem is from a 1970 C10 truck and I plan to add an LED backlit blue bowtie within the emblem... Wheels are GM 15". Suspension is stock for now but there are great changes expected soon.
The second photo was taken on our recent 4000 mile round trip from New Mexico to Baltimore Maryland to visit relatives. We make a circut trip back.. stopping at tourist traps along the way and such. The 110 performed flawlessly, getting about 22 to 23 mpg. It has a Holley 2bbl (350 Cfm) sitting on a Chenowert manifold. Ignition is stock points and condensor (the good NAPA ones). The engine itself is untouched interannly and has just over 70,000 miles on it. I know this is actual because I have owned this car since I was 17 years old. 40 years we have been together now. The Powerglide shifted flawlessly on the trip after some assist here on the forum. Cutevair (my wife named the car) has electric and heated seats which also recline to a resting position. Very comfortable on long trips and there is extra sound deadner to keep the road noise low. The engine is a single exhaust through a quiet muffler. I have a late 80's vintage cruise control system that I will be adding soon. The interior is now in white with pepper color carpet but the plan is to insert blue velor panels in the seats..both front and back. I'll also change the carpet to deep royal blue..pretty much to match the exterior plan. We had lots of positive chats on the trip and we both enjoy driving our lil Corvair.

Roof of my daily driver '64 this morning. Think its time to break out the minivan sad smiley for daily driving before they pave the roads with salt here in Albq over a frost.
