Truly outstanding cars. They are both gold standards for 64 Spyder Convertible. My father had 64 Spyder convertible and that car is what sparked my interest in Corvairs.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure to meet Ken Hand in person for lunch in Ypsilanti, MI (Note the automotive heritage museum in the background). Ken and I spent literally hours on the telephone during my restoration project and to say he was a huge help is an understatement. It was great to meet him in person, he's as good of a guy as they come.
After lunch we got to visit the museum and see some of the DACC Corvairs there. Neat spot.
As a side note my son Jack is with us who is now 17 (sporting the "why are you taking my picture?" smile LOL). He's grown a bit since the photo on page 1 of this thread. Time flies!
Hope you all are doing well.

Cruising the photos found this receipt with notes at the bottom and laughed out loud. Good to see the thread has helped a few people I guess...and supporting Ken Hand who is a fantastic human.
Hope you all are doing well. No Corvair for me yet (waiting for Brad to sell the 64 back to me someday). For now busy racing my Spec Boxster in PCA, planning on doing some WRL arrive and drive racing this coming year too in a BMW. Cheers everyone!
