AIR CLEANER FITMENT

Does anyone know if the 140 hp air cleaner will fit the crossover tube for the 110 hp 2 carb? I like the look of the 2 horns instead of one. And does anyone have one for sale? Thanks,Scott.

It will fit but the upper vent tube will need to be switched to the 140 style if I remember correctly.

Thanks guys. If I had paid more attention to what I was doing when I was searching for vent tube I just bought, I would have known it was different for the 140. I'm going to stay with the 110 air cleaner. But need the base for this also, if anyone has one. Thanks, Scott.

You can also cut and reflair the horn on a 110 for more air...

Stitch...that reflared end makes it look so much better than simply hacking the end off like I usually see.

The notch on the top of the 110 cross over has to be opened up slightly to fit the tab of the 140 base also. If you don't the dual snorkels won't shoot straight back.

I would sell the 140 base shown for 20.00 plus shipping if someone is intrested, the rust looks worse than it really is,
