Great ride!
Is the chassis home-built? The front axle looks like an Econoline, I think.
I'll have to dig up a copy of the May, 1974 Rod Action to add to my magazine collection. Thanks for posting.

Bob Anderson @ CIDCO was making the backward pinion shafts for a while, haven't heard much from Bob of late, he moved to Oregon, maybe Matt's neighbor???

Google turns up some interesting things when you play around.

Mine was started in 1968. 1300lbs. and a 150hp 1964 Spyder engine.

Thinking about putting it back together for the Detroit Convention. Last time it was in Detroit was in 1972 for the Third NSRA street rod nationals. Would be nice to have it back there 35 years later.

The Fortin car has a reverse ring and pinion and was at our 2007 CORSA national convention. I found a higher stall torque converter for him but don't know if he ever put it in. The engine is in the center of the car for clearance and the axle tubes are different length. As far as I know he never got it running right with the Weber carbs and Powerglide. It has been in several Autorama shows in Detroit.
