1965 Red Corsa Corvair Convertible SOLD
Posted by: randypet ()
Date: March 04, 2013 10:14PM

The engine on this Corsa was recently rebuilt; there are no miles on the rebuild. It also includes Crager mags. This 1965 Corsa has a 140 hp engine, 6 cylinders and a clear title. Exterior color is red; interior is black. It has an automatic transmission. Many new refinements appeared on the beautiful, new 1965 redesign of the Corsa including an instrument panel featuring a 140 mph speedometer with resettable trip odometer and a 6,000 rpm tachometer. This car is located in Sonoma, CA. $7,500. Please call Randy with any questions 707-974-8061.

What makes it a Corsa? The 140MPH speedo, the emblems on the body, or the 140HP engine. Did someone change out the dash. A true Corsa would not have an automatic trans. What's the 13 digit ID number?

Hmmm. I see a Monza dash with 120mph speedometer; no resettable trip odometer, no tach.
Nice looking car.

Can't explain the VIN. The door panel looks like it has a Corsa emblem and
there's Corsa script on the front fender. Not much else Corsa on that car.
Mostly Monza. Even the horn button. Way overpriced for a "sort of Corsa replica".
A car like that with a Corsa VIN needs an explanation.

Possibly a CORSA then, that was converted to Automatic and the Monza dash installed. Claiming a 140 mph speedo with trip and Tach.... has me concerned about claims made tho!
Would be nice to see engine, trunk and undercarrage pictures. Power top? Miles? As presented it looks nice.

I'd like to see the hidden vin number. The one in the engine compartment is illegal but EZ change.

Sounds like he is Quoting text from the 65 Corvair Brochure about the Corsa Model and not listing what the car has on it. Still, a strange way to word his ad. Using a quote to say what was NOT on the car. confused smiley

Looks like the rear panel has been cut on both sides for dual exhaust exit , but only a single pipe present on the pass side?

Come on Randypet! You have been listing alot of cars for sale on here and some of them look pretty decent but you keep getting your facts mixed up! This is a sharp group and will catch you on every detail! Do a little research and get your Ducks in a row and Give factual info about the cars and Life will be good! pretty easy to see there is no tach and 140 mph speedo,,post a pic of the engine that is rebuilt with no miles on it and vin tag so people will know what they are realy looking at? It will help you in the long run!smoking smiley
