() Date: September 03, 2022 10:09PM We installed a engine in the 60 four door I started on earlier this year. I gave up on it for health issues, but my friend Pat is finishing it off with me. Originally I wanted to put a 140 in it well hidden with a stock 60 air cleaner with extra tubes added with 64 suspension. Well for now it got a decent fresh 110. Will make a nice solid driver. ![]() Re: What did you WORK ON / DO....to your Corvair today? Posted by:

() Date: September 09, 2022 08:15PM I got up at 6am yesterday and drove to Lebec, California to look at a Corvair. I'm 67 and I've never taken a close look at a Corvair. I didn't buy it, but I took a lot of pictures and did a quick study of it. So now I have a bit more knowledge to go on about Corvairs. It was a 1967 Monza, four door, automatic trans. with factory A/C. ![]() ![]() Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: What did you WORK ON / DO....to your Corvair today? Posted by:

Not a lot of Four-doors got the A/C, and this one has California smog equipment. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited 1 time(s). () Date: September 10, 2022 09:52AM Looks like some of the brackets are missing unfortunately. Not sure why? Hope they can find it a home and the special parts need to be saved if one chooses to go with standard ac. Re: What did you WORK ON / DO....to your Corvair today? Posted by:

It's on Facebook [www.facebook.com] It's a really complete car but it's just more than I want to attempt to jump into. The guy selling it is Frank Rosas at 818-335-7607 a really nice guy. The car is in Lebec California and he's in the area and available between 7:30am -noon. But you can call him in the evening to meet you for the next day. () Date: September 10, 2022 04:10PM Started reinstalling glass and new door handles in the Greenbrier. After successfully installing the first piece of rear door glass, I worked on the second but it did not go as easy....I broke it in the process as it was Laminated, NOT Tempered. 1962 95 F.C. () Date: September 13, 2022 09:44PM Working on my new to me Corsa convertible. The interior had new Clark's seat covers but thats all that could be said for it. The covers were installed over original crunchy foam and original cover remnants. So we are rebuilding those with all new material. New carpet and door panels going in as well. The floor is beautiful at least. ![]() ![]() Re: What did you WORK ON / DO....to your Corvair today? Posted by:

() Date: September 16, 2022 09:26PM Thanks Scott! It's coming together. Interior much closer: ![]() Next - While I am not against aftermarket gauges, they ought to look good if you go to the effort. In the case of this car it was a complete fail on the PPO's part. These looked like horse sh**. Not to mention the tacky little lights below for the gen/fan temp/press and fuel injection check engine light. ![]() So back to stock it went. I had a few parts corsa dashes on hand to replace the needed bits. Luckily the wiring hacks done by the PPO were in the dash harness itself and that got swapped out. The dash surround has been powder coated in wrinkle black so I kept it. I think it looks much better back to stock. I installed a small LED under the ignition for the FI check engine light. Obvious if it lights up but otherwise hidden. ![]() Re: What did you WORK ON / DO....to your Corvair today? Posted by:
