Yep! That's with a 2" drop on the front, even. Time to dip into the industrial-size bucket of lowness and slop a bunch onto this thing.

I'm talking about a 1" Swaybar up front and a 3/4" in the rear... stop the wheel tuck... make the body refuse to lean..

Mounted turbo on Banger... my first tight exhaust system fab begins Monday!

Also got fan from Dan / .66Corsa180gt installed.

I'll update the "Stoplight Gran Prix" topic when I get the exhaust header done.

Not so on the distributor comment being a 60-61. If you look closely, it's a 62-64 with a separate dust cover under the rotor, which are usually never present. The 60-61 distributor has the round rotor that screws down to the overhead weight plate.

Matt, look again at that distributor again...that's a separate dust cover you're seeing, not part of the rotor. The distributor is a 62-64. You can also tell because of the screw holes for the cap; a 60-61 has spring clips, not screws.

No Corvair content...serviced and fired up the lawn tractor and weed whacker.

Apparently spring has sprung out here on the left coast...time to start mowing/spraying.

Replaced leaky LH axle seal, o-ring and speedometer drive o-ring, missing e-brake cable clamp and clip, cleaned, shimmed and repacked wheel bearing, changed gear oil, adjusted rear brakes on my Lakewood.

Sent another one off to the great beyond. While loading it I had visions of it with an arrow straight clean trimless 500 body with fresh metallic blue paint, widened stock body color wheels with baby moons, a crisp buckskin tan interior, and a fire breathing big bore Salih cylindered, Hilborn injected engine. I have the engine parts on my shelf here begging for a home. Then reality hit. This thing is rotted and beat with barely a useable part on it. Also I have way too many cars because of having such visions. Alas. Its off to become a toaster or frying pans or something.

Corvair Scott from the SDCC came over with Tacos last night to watch me struggle with my Harmonic Balancer.

Was it worth it using the Corvair Puller? I think it was because we got it off and all we needed was to remove the oil filter, then shrink our hands down to a little girls size and we were good.

The more things I TRY to fix myself with my Corvairs the more confidant I feel!
