Yeah you got a museum piece there. I know what I am going to get when I get a garage...aftermarket version of course.

I bought mine for $25- but the transformer is missing, and has solince developed some glass damage. Bought it in 2008.

I missed one, working, for $100, and kick myself every time I see mine.

Eric , if You ever want to get it working , look Me up in Des Moines . Call Eagle Sign Co. and ask for Dan . I will hook You up with Neon Charlie to fix the glass plus I have a shelf full of old transformers .

One was sold last September at the Corsa Ontario swap meet so they do come up from time to time; personally not interested in one myself.

Corvair By Chevrolet neon sign - are you interested?

Reviving/updating an old thread here...

We are building a new home and I am outfitting the shop like I have wanted!

I am in the process of obtaining a quote from a licensed Chevrolet neon sign manufacturer for production of the CORVAIR BY CHEVROLET sign in the original dimensions and style, I am gauging interest for production of a quantity order. The shop (USA) is one that produces many of the commercially available signs available online and would use best quality components.

Would you be interested in one??

I will be doing it for myself one way or the other smiling smiley

My tipping point would be if we're talking about $300 or $1700 for a reproduction light.

I spoke to the manufacturer this afternoon. The $300 price point is definitely doable (PLUS shipping which, with crating, will run around $80-100 typically). The quality of these will be excellent and is from an industry-leader in the neon business.

More information soon.

Please let me know if you are interested. I am building this initial run on a lot of 20 but think that will sell fast so let mw know and I will up the quantity....

McFry-
To ensure clarity, I am working with a neon manufacturer on a production run of a NEW sign, crafted as the one depicted. The vendor is currently obtaining the license and now working on the computer design which I will post here when available.

Let me know if your Uncle is interested.

I would be interested in at least 2 at the $300. If the quality is what you day maybe 4 or 5 more from
club members.

FYI everyone, all that have expressed interest - whether on this thread or by PM - I have added you to The List. You should have received a PM from me to confirm this.

When it comes time to move forward in the future I will confirm with all on The List.
