It looks as though the builder took the time to install a real convertible windshield. I haven't seen a short '60 before. Not bad.

I see a lot of potential there, With a little reworking that can be a real nice car.

I agree Craig, with some nice wheels and finish work it would be a nice addition to any garage. There is a local fellow here with short wagon and short early convert.

It does look like a nice job. I wonder if they are going to make a Vairmino out of the wagon?

Heres a Dunebuggy shortened EM in San Diego Craigslist for $2499. Some better wheels and tires and it would be a lot of fun I bet!

I'd like to see a convoy of those shorty Corvairs motorvating down the road with clowns driving them! Would also be cool to see a NOT SHORTENED 4-door Corvair convertible made out of a wagon or a sedan (or both)!

Gary Nelson of Corvair Minnesota has a really nice EM "roadster". I don't remember what year it is but it's very nicely done white with blue interior and blue top. I don't think I have a picture of it anywhere though.

I've thought about a mid-engine with the rear shortened, it's cool to see a picture of one.
