I believe that is an NSU though, not a Corvair.

I had no idea what it was but only thing that really looks Corvair is the windshield, doing one with a flipped engine does sound interesting.

The NSU Prinz borrowed Corvair styling at a level that would certainly get lawyers involved if it were done today.
