Looks like they cleaned things up a little, I wonder if it is a new owner and they just decided to sell it. I'm not sure if I like it. I would love the drive train in a car, but It's clunky in the Rampside.

The ad says it has a clear Arizona title so I assume it has a new owner from when it was for sale in El Paso.

UPDATE:

Correcting my last post.

I met the owner and saw this V8 Rampy in person while at a Scottsdale cruise-in two weeks ago. It is still owned by the person who did the conversion. He had it for sale in El Paso on Craig's List. The truck did not change owners and has always been titled in Arizona. The truck is now back in AZ and still for sale.

The mechanical work looks pretty good but much cosmetic details await the new owner and he said he is wanting to work on something else instead. It has some oil leaks and such but if you want an interesting conversion Rampy this looks like a solid candidate.

Crap! I cudda had a V8

The 62 Rampy on ebay " Patina Rat Rod Original" was the same seller as this V-8 Rampy . New owner (ebay seller) did quite a bit to it since I called about it (El Paso craiglist) earlier this year.

It was advertized for $2,500 and had not run since the mid 70's. Too rough for me so this guy did quite a bit of work on this including new paint but he left the old sign.

Anyway, PO in El Paso has a salvage yard and has lots of Corvair parts and cars for sale. Might be a good source for someone living within driving distance.
