() Date: March 31, 2012 03:54PM I suppose that Red is a more "emotional" color. There are plenty of Red Ferrari's out there that attest to that. It does command attention. Someone in the past changed my 1965 Monza Convertible from Sierra Tan (metallic Gold) to a Red. The paint has failed completely and so it will be repainted. I like the original color scheme better! () Date: March 31, 2012 07:28PM At least my red is the factory correct color Although I did want a metallic bronze on it but the shop couldn't do it in a single stage so it wasn't in our budget.________________________________________________________ Chandler Roswell, GA. 1965 Corvair Monza 110/4sp Coupe ![]() Re: Why so many Red Vairs? () Date: March 31, 2012 09:14PM I don't own any red corvairs at the moment but do agree that they look outstanding for early and late style, even the FC's. My taste is more towards the bright blues and turquoise, and even a soft spot for aztec bronze. Re: Why so many Red Vairs? Posted by:

() Date: April 01, 2012 01:15AM I think it may have been Larry Claypool that once said - there are currently twice as many red Corvairs as ever left the factory. I have had the privlidge of 3 red corvairs. '63 Monza, originally Regal Red '64 Monza, origianlly Fawn / Beige '67 500, originally red.. 33% of mine were re-colors! () Date: April 02, 2012 02:11AM I didn't want a red Vair, I'm partial to the medium blue colors they came in, but red was the color the car I found was so I got it. I've learned to love it. Red vairs are purty. Re: Why so many Red Vairs? Posted by:
