Glen Herring of the NTCA passed away recently and left a large amount of Corvair
material. Nell Herring has decided to sell her '64 4-door and then at a later
date, all the parts as well. But, cars first. There are 19 of them.

Nell will be available from 10am to 1pm this coming Saturday (March 10th) for
anyone to look at these cars and discuss prices. There will be an asking price
but reasonable offers will be considered. Purchases may be made Saturday with
pickups to be arranged for a late date. All the cars have keys and titles except
for one parts car.

The closest major intersection is I-20 and Kelly-Elliott Rd in west Arlington.

Here's an overview of what is there:

4 - 1964's (3 Monza's, 1 500)
4 - 1965 and 1966 Corsa's
3 - Late Monza's
2 - Lakewoods
4 - Greenbriers

There are at least 5 parts cars there, some counted above. None are running,
although two were said to have been driving into place. Most are in pretty
rough shape having been stored outside for decades, but 6 have been undercover
and are in pretty good shape.

All sales will be "As is" and "Where is". Nell Herring, Carolyn Wispell, Clay Wispell, and Mike Boyle are working very hard to make it as easy as possible to
get the cars onto trailers for their ride to a new home.

ariel shot.

So what's up with the blue Monza 4-dr with the blown tire other than the sun beat crap out of the paint? Or is the front far worse for wear?

I notice one of the cars is a 69 convt. Hope someone gets the vin # & data plate info & submits it to the 69 group for their roster.

The convertible doesn't look that bad either, even if it needs floor pans. To a boy from the midwest, those looks like some fine project material.

Darn, I have to be at the Mecum Auction on Saturday virtually all day. I wish I could get an entire '64 4-speed parts car to update Brian's.

Maybe I can see her at a later time.
