The Knoxville Area Corvair Club is mourning the loss of its Treasurer, Tom McCarter. Tom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about three weeks ago, he passed away last night at his home with his wife, Sandra and family by his side. Please rember the McCarter family in your prayers.

Sorry to hear of the loss. I met up with a fellow poster yesterday, who had been out of the DC club for a while - that I was previously a member of as well. We had a great talk about Corvairs and the people that we knew, unfortunately many of those great members are no longer with us. Kinda sad, but they obviously left great memories for those fortunate to know them. I hope Mr. McCarter is remembered in as many good ways as well.

Yes Ed, He and Sandra were driving a white late model 4 door.

Tom was laid to rest today with 3 of our club members driving their Corvairs in the persession. Thanks to everyone for your support, thoughts and prayers during this families difficult time.
