When will we see an electric motor from Clark's. Gas is over $4.00 in Los Angeles and climbing.

$3.93 here today! Don't worry... you cannot save anything by changing... not even another car that gets 40 mpg... even if given to you...
Just registering the car in Cal. will negate 15,000 miles of savings.... then you have insurance...

Gas prices suck and they are apparently going to get worse. Not going to make for a good summer. Glad I'm not in the hospitality business.
What kills me is that every time this happens there are always posts about how people are going to spend XXXXX numbers of dollars to re-engineer their Corvair so it will get better gas mileage or?
I'm going to go bolt flywheels.

I'll just have to drive the V8 less and the Corsa more. Not a problem since there's little I can do about gas prices anyway. I just wish it were higher octane and not contaminated with ethanol.

I dislike me some ethanol
on the plus side, even though it cost more, Premium really is cleaner, they take great care to keep it as contaminate free as possible,, still hate to have to run it

$4.75/US gallon here, and yes of course it is expected to rise considerably by the May long weekend...

$3.49 on my fill up this evening. I go across the river into Ohio, $.15 cheaper than WV.

Hmmm....I think I paid $3.39 for 89 (10% ethanol blend) for the truck tonight....
I drive an average of 80 miles a day, at not-so-good fuel mileage.

I've lived here 12 years now and never once have I since US prices for gas higher than what it is in the Ottawa, ON area.
Right now in a small town outside of Ottawa it is 4.68342 per gal.
Or 1.239 per liter times 3.78Lt = one gal.
(Ottawa is anywhere from 2 to 5 cents higher per gal, than the price in this township)
And Al I see you have it worse than us over here.

Filled up at $3.39 this morning. Same station $3.79 on the way home. I bet it's $2.50 a gallon before election day after peeking at $5.00 this summer. It will be like DejaVu 2008 all over again.
If we could only get a pipeline from all that oil in Canada to the refineries in Texas we could tell the Middle East to piss-off! I know, I'm a dreamer.

Lets stop the tree huggers and start drilling our own oil. When it hurts the country enough maybe then they will allow us to use our own. Ya Christmas is coming too. Rant over. Went up .30 in one night, $3.39 to $3.69. Was $3.06 in Lansing a week ago. Wish the news media would quite saying it will hit $5 soon. They seem to enjoy their jobs to much.

I've been paying that or close to that for about a year now. I cross into Niagara Falls NY to save $20-40 a fill depending on what I'm filling up
