Just wondering... can I satrt my LM and run the engine with the dash and cluster out of the car?

I don't see why not. Only thing is, you won't be able to monitor anything!

Yup - Unless it is a PG and the neutral safety switch is unplugged. And if that is the case make sure the PG selector is in the right place or it might make for some fun.

Perhaps you could remove the ignition switch from the dash or connect a spare the wiring harness and crank it up...

If it is a Corsa, plug the vac line for the boost gauge.

I think the charging circuit will not work without the dash.

And the resistance wire may be in the fuseblock harness?

Why so complicated?
Make sure the trans in neutal with park brake one
Wire from positve batery post to positive side of coil.
Remote starter switch (just a jumper wire) from positive bat post to purple wire at srarter mini harness.

Now if you have an electric fuel pump...... you will need need to get power to that also.
