Anyone adapted one of these to a standard crossover on a 110?

Here's a pic of it installed and a pic of the adapter you'll need. You can get them off ebay for a couple bucks.

Essentially, what you want is a complete air cleaner setup for a 2-bbl carburetor with a 2 and 5/8" opening. It even comes with the adapter for the PCV valve.

Motor looks great, but my fav(for any car) air cleaner/carb setup is the stock 140. Very pleasing to these eyes.

But yours looks great Dave! Great color for the engine compartment.

Thanks for the compliment. I ended up going with the chrome air cleaner I have because I found it in the bargin bin at Pep Boys for $19.99! Couldn't resist it that price.

Thanks. Its not an exact match, but its pretty close given its from an off-the-shelf rattle can.

Keep in mind too that the best way to improve 'breathability' for your stock Corvair intake is to put spacers on the air horn at the carb tops. Search for pics and previous discussions on this topic if interested.
