Just called Canadian tire. They still sell 185 80 r 13 tires black wall only. 25.4 inches tall. 44.00$ each. Just to let anyone know. Too bad there not white wall.



Anyone know who still sells ones with white walls and cheap for drivers????

Sadly, no such animal as a cheap WW $200 a tire! and Coker's are Bias Ply... show only..

Bias plies are what helped to give Vairs a bad name.

Did you verify the tires at Canadian Tire are rated for vehicles? There are a lot of 185 80 R13 tires, but they end up being trailer tires.

If they are for vehicles, I may have to drag out my passport and go north earlier than planned. Wonder what the duty would be on them at customs?

Ya there for cars. Im going tomorrow to buy 6 that are last years old stock. For 22 dollars each. This years stock looks good nice looking. I'll check forsure tomorrow night when I fly home from the Great White North.



You can also call canadian tire and ask. They don't show them on the website.

Matt - can you clue us into where you've found them, if they're not the ones for close to $200? We can't find any at all here in the South. Our favorite tire place that uses 12 different distributors can't find us any. We have an out of commission Lakewood with a steel belt hanging our of the side. Really miss driving it, but want to leave the 13 inch rims and wheel covers on it. Would love to find whitewalls, but anything will do to get it back on the road. Thanks.

Lucas classic tires in Long beach CA and Springfield OH stocks most sizes of portawalls.Cheaper than buying whitewalls.www.LucasClassicTires.com Back in the dark ages I installed them on used cars where my Dad worked and if installed properly they look fine.Just avoid hitting curbs.GGGG

Thanks, but all Google searches end up with trailer tires. We've tried that before.

I bought 5 from Clark's last fall. Not cheap, but not $200e a either. Import but that is about all you can find now. When they were out I guess I will do the Coker radials w/ wider whites than stock.

Nose art from a CH-47 in Viet Nam

Several months ago I went to a local small tire dealer and he did a search and found two Maxxis p185/80r13's at one warehouse and two at another. Gottum for a little over $300. They are whitewalls and have a 2011 manufacture date. I think that talking to a friendly dealer would yield better results than an online search. The first dealer I tried failed but the second one scored.
