Hello, I am a newbie to this Phorum. I have owned a total of 3 coupes at different times. I bought a 66 coupe from a guy in Chino Valley, AZ late last
year with a 68 Camero front air dam. Cracked it the 2nd day I owned the car.
Can someone post a photo, on a LM of the "stock repro. that Clarks sells?
I have been lurking here for a few months........lots of good information!

This one is from Clark's and far superior to some of the other aftermarket ones out there that sell for $20



Here is a $20 special...looks ok, but didn't fit as well as Clark's and is made from much lighter ABS too...

Thank you Mattnal for the photo of the stock air dam. I don't want to seem ungratfull,but the other posts kind of missed the point. I want an air dam that does not extend as far down as the Camero one. My 66 coupe has been lowered and I keep scrapping the dam when leaving a driveway entering a crowned roadway.

Mine is lowered, and I scrape a bit now and then, but it is made of rubber and has enough "give" that it bounces right back after a brush with speed bumps, etc...

The best front-on shot I have of it. It has an aluminum frame and this is the picture of that. I hadn't put all the screws that hold it on back in yet, and I was pointing out that is has current tags after an 8 year hibernation.

Not sure you specified that until now... Plus some of us just love an opportunity to show off our cars Anyhow, like I said my first pic is the Clarks version but Camaro style I guess...

GM - did you hate the accent or what? I lost mine years ago when I moved to FL and have never found it again...purposely! When I hear people talk with that Worc or Boston accent it kinda makes me nuts...

My 7th grade English teacher was from New England. Every word ending with an "a" came out as "UR", like AmeriCUR. That really threw me for a loop for some reason. I found English confusing enough without the accent issue.

Yeah somehow the accent pronounces R's when not there...but doesn't when there...go figure...
