() Date: February 20, 2012 07:12PM Don't mean to hijack thread, but did you install the gages. Mine are so dim that they are hard to see at nitetime. Yes I cleaned the switch and changed the bulbs. John Booth Roselle, IL. Re: Finally some decent pictures to post Posted by:

() Date: February 22, 2012 05:51AM I installed the gauges and wired them into the original plug so it plugs into the original harness. I changed the bulbs to blue LEDs. Bright lite indicator is way too bright, gonna have to do something with that. Attachments: ![]() Re: Finally some decent pictures to post Posted by:

() Date: February 22, 2012 06:56AM I'm not sure what you ended up doing with Gen light and the resistor. I recommend you use a standard lamp. The lamp will begin to light(glow) if there is a difference of 2 volts across it. If the alternator voltage is higher it will light or if the battery voltage is higher it will light. The LED is still just a diode. It will only light when forward-biased. Orange. What color orange is that? Is it possible that it is Plymouth Vitamin C? () Date: February 22, 2012 05:05PM The resistor is still in the circuit and the alt light seems to work ok. I guess I'll see. There's a volt meter so the light is basically there for a fan light in case I lose a belt. The orange is a combination Kirker colors, Bright Orange Metallic, Lemon Drop Pearl and Performance Yellow over buff primer. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. | ||||||||||||||||||
