How much space does your adapter take? From memory, mine's about 4" - there's no way I could have fit the engine in without "adjusting" the rear rail.

I run a serpentine belt which takes a pretty wide pulley but even with a single groove lower pulley every 215 I've seen required clearancing on the rear rail.

Very nice job you did there. The corvair that my 215 came out of there was a deeper cut on the rail so your is a very clean job.

Lowered A/C bracket on mine will mover the belt down 5".

Just got the new 9 lb cross member motor mount from Speedway today. I'm still looking for EM 215 V8 Olds side mounts so I can move on to the single 3" exhaust system that will be going on the right rear with my last 3.5" corsa tip.

I must have 100 lb's of parts on the floor so far, the old mounts, custom steel pulleys, the exhaust and steel fly wheel all in the wrong spot.

Thinking of the JetFire turbo system on my 215 Olds motor, or the EM 3.8 Buick, Trans Am turbo unit may fit too.

aawww,c'mon Jim,,post some pics !! include the side of the block you need mounts for,there HAS to be something that will adapt

Crazy, but 455 Buick & SBC Aluminum pulleys are a mate. Next week the motor mounts will be here.

It took a BBC side mount to fit a 215 V8 Olds to the V6 Buick cross member that mounts to Corvair frame rails.

I will have pictures of the motor mounts soon.

Just got my Hamburger spin on adapter today so now I can move weight to the transaxle, this will give me more clearance to the ground from the Olds PH 25 oil filter. My car has been lowered.

I did add a 1/8" Aluminum spacers on the water pump hub so there is the right clearance next to the Return hose. Now to fine a 36" Goodyear belt thing are looking good.

Did you have any thoughts about scooting the powertrain forward? I recall your plan to not cut the rear rail and if it works out I wouldn't mind shifting mine forward a bit.
