OK, Wagon Enthusiasts and Owners - Let's get Going!!
Date: September 09, 2011 03:51PM

I'm going to re-start the CORSA group for Lakewood/Monza wagons.
There was an online meeting group set up on Yahoo, but a bunch of Yahoos messed it all up with spam and other garbage, so that went dead.

Please reply to this thread if you are interested in joining a Special Interest Group (S.I.G.) part of CORSA.

I'll set up an online location to get together and we'll include as much useful stuff ans we can for us Wagon Masters.

Let me know what online features you would like to see.

Wagons HO!!

Just a wagon dream I have.....

Matt, I have been a member of the yahoo group for three years now and there is no activity. The other thing is I have never liked the form factor of a yahoo group.

I'll be starting a NEW site - It will be a much improved meeting place that will have a Forum similar to this, along with e-mail following if desired.
Mostly it will be a place for Wagon Owners to share info in digital form. I want members to be involved and make contributions such as an article on how to replace the back side door roll-up glass. It will be an illustrated article that will step by step show how it's done.
Another article will be installing a headliner from start to finish. Members will help each other out with this well documented information and it will be available online as a presentation article with space at the bottom for comments by other members.
Owners will have a gallery/garage for displaying their wagons/projects.
It will be a CORSA chartered S.I.G. so it will have convention get-togethers , again.
Anyone know any former members of the group? Have them get in touch with me.

Sounds good to me since I need all the help I can get. You know the article on replacing the back door glass would have been handy the day I spent 3 hours fighting to get it in only to find out the one side of the frame is removable to get the glass in! smiling smiley My wagon is a long term barn found project car so I can see where a wagon specific forum would be great.

Richard,
I've got to do the exact same job, so I'm glad you've now got some valuable experience to share!!
I posted up a pic of those three screws after checking it out thanks to the post you made here.
Now we can create a well-illustrated article and post it up on the new Lakewood - Monza Wagon Group (L-M WG)website.

Wag thinks it's a great idea.... Have you considered FACEBOOK as maybe a better alternative? Methinks Facebook might be a better alternative and it might draw out more wagon owners.....
DAN...I like your 2-door wagon concept...is exactly what I think of on a wagon Mod..... I replied to your PM...never heard back... keep in touch.

Same here Richard; "I need all the help I can get." However, some of my friends say I'm beyond help. LOL

Count me in! If an Electric Wagon project will be acceptable to everyone.
It is all I have at this time. I’m still waiting on Sam to sell his wagon to me. Thank God I did not hold my breath. GGG

The 61 wagon has a 60 front clip, all new floors and rocker panels installed before I purchased it.

I hope someday I find a complete 62 Monza Wagon in good shape to restore to all original, if not already restored.

(1) Marie's 1962 Convertible and our 1966 Ultravan #248 (aka Itchy Feet - Long Restoration)
(2) Our 1963 Rampside (Sold 2014) and 1967 Ultravan #256 at Upper Canada Valley car show in 2009.
(UV256 aak Itchy Feet II - corvair power plant came out 2012 - plans with donor for a GM 3.8L FWD conversion, as a gas pusher, in the back of UV256)
(3 & 4) Are some of our 11 Corvair parts cars - to help keep our stuff on the road - hopefully as long as we live. ;-)
(5) Is one of our Wayne 100 boats (Corvair powered) SOLD - August 2018
(6) Nov 14, 2012 Ultravans #362 and #512 arrived. We are getting closer to our goal of having an Ultravan museum.
We now own; UV248, UV256, UV362, UV512, and UV520 will hopefully be here July 2013.
(7) I saved Ultravan #231 from the scarp yard this year. It arrived May 9, 2013 and I plan to flip this one with a rear engine V6.
Anything is for sale at the right price.
