Calling all Corvair Photographers
Date: August 29, 2011 01:30AM

I'm sure there are plenty of talented photographers here that would enjoy presenting their Corvair photos to the world.
Panoramio is a site that provides photos to Google Earth. I've been uploading photos to there for some time now. They have recently started a Groups project that like-minded artists can share there photos with the world. It's amazing how many views some of mine have racked up.
I started a new Group - Corvairs - If you are up to the challenge to take great shots, upload them and put them on the map, they will become visible in Google Earth and the Corvairs group will help promote our photography and our cars all at once!!

Your photos at Corvair car shows, your own cars, ones you've found by the side of the road. Any photo that you took that has Corvair Power!.

Let's DO this.

Tag your it. Now the world knows where you live and what you have. Toooo many bad people out there for me to tag my location.

Call me cynical if you wish but there are certain things I do not wish to put out to the world. If I were to do this I would pick a public location and tag there.

Only a complete fool would put the location of their garage on the internet. Mapping locations of car shows on the other hand is a good thing.
When entering information for the location - you- get to choose where to put the marker.
If your camera records GPS location information- turn it off - when you're at home or at your buddy's house.
Be aware, be considerate, be intelligent. = " common sense "

I'm in, once I get my car back and head to the beach.

The idea here is to be creative, not put up a private location for everyone to see. All of us here should have something interesting in/around their hometown they can share.

Joe I think your tag line says it all in regards to your comment " A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS A DANGEROUS THING"
