() Date: August 04, 2011 06:56PM The east entrance is all paved real professional now. New Ranger Station building and all...hence the new $15 per car fee. Keeps the motorcycle morons off the lakebed when wet. Re: Great Western Fan Belt Toss Posted by:

() Date: August 04, 2011 07:30PM Yeah I don't embed anything, takes up screen space and bandwidth for people who don't care. Interested parties can click! Sometimes I wish I was closer to all the SoCal goodness but then I like my weather even though it's raining today. Re: OT- Weather Posted by:

() Date: August 04, 2011 08:48PM I was hoping somebody knew a better route to El Mirage than I-10 and I-15. A few years back I came to the GWFBT&SM on I-15 and I-10 and was stuck on I-10 for nearly two hours so I'm gun shy now and don't go that way anymore. I guess there aren't any back roads, eh? 65 Corsa 140/4 A/C convert. CORSA+Vegas Vairs Re: Great Western Fan Belt Toss Posted by:

() Date: August 05, 2011 04:59AM Talk about a thread hijack. The last 15 posts should be re-titled "How to get to a lands speed event" because I have seen anything about the Fan Belt Toss since the first post. Re: Great Western Fan Belt Toss Posted by:

() Date: August 05, 2011 11:02AM I drove that part of the 247 a couple of decades back in a 1957 Continental Mark II. It was a nice day, not hot, and it was a great road and a good drive for a big American car. Looking forward to the GWFBT. Those Corsa West folks will do a good job based on my experiences with them.
