I was hoping somebody knew a better route to El Mirage than I-10 and I-15.
A few years back I came to the GWFBT&SM on I-15 and I-10
and was stuck on I-10 for nearly two hours so I'm gun shy now
and don't go that way anymore. I guess there aren't any back roads, eh?

Talk about a thread hijack.

The last 15 posts should be re-titled "How to get to a lands speed event" because I have seen anything about the Fan Belt Toss since the first post.

I drove that part of the 247 a couple of decades back in a 1957 Continental Mark II. It was a nice day, not hot, and it was a great road and a good drive for a big American car.

Looking forward to the GWFBT. Those Corsa West folks will do a good job based on my experiences with them.

Back on topic,,fan belt toss was great last year,,had a good time and met some nice people,,Looking forward to it again this year!! You gunna make it Mr Nall?
