I've said this time and time again...I'd have sold off my non-running, falling apart shell of a corvair instead of having years of enjoyment if it wasn't for this site and especially the members. Royce does a great job and I hardly think many people here aren't in his debt.

I'll join in on the group hug...yup this place has not only helped me out immensely, but I have made a couple of good friends here, too. I have learned lots, and been able to fix things on my car that I never would have had the confidence to do on my own. I have never worked on a car, up until I bought my corvair, so I am still very green, and with the help and advice offered here I can say that my car is running better than ever!

In fact, when I joined this forum, I knew I was making the right decision. I think I landed my 65 within 2 weeks of joining, and that was about 3.5 years ago now...

Thank you Royce! And Matt as well, he is quick with the replies!

This Corvair Center site is:

1. a huge aid for my Corvair habit/hobby! The search option is the first place I go for information, even before my manuals. It's one of the best sources of current information!

2. a huge aid for therapy from the daily stress of life, to the extent that we would need a six month notice before pulling the plug!

3. a place where friendships are made! By far more friendships are made than enemies. We don't even come close to knowing the extent of emails, visits or parts purchases, swaps or freebees.

This could go on and on!

THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED! (Yes, that was in loud caps.)!

I'll jump in to say thank you VERY much to Royce, Matt, & every member here !
I found this site less than 2 years ago, and since then I have refound a love for the rear engined Chevies. To the point where I know I will own more Corvairs in the future, and am always looking for them(they are quite rare here in Canada). I soon realized I had forgotten alot about these old cars once I started reading threads here, and there is always alot to read ! Everyday !!

This place is great mental therapy/entertainment !!!thumbs up
