Well, the weekend has finally arrived. Been working my car all night (got the engine bay spot painted and car detailed and ready to go). We will be meeting at 8am to caravan with about 8 members from Albuquerque up to Red River.

Going to be an awesome time with Corvairs of NM, Rocky Mtn Corsa and Pikes Peak Corvair Club, plus some other clubs possibly.

Gonna be a great time and I'll add pics to this thread as the weekend goes on (if I have internet access at the hotel)

Hope to meet some of you there this weekend and rekindle old friendships from the last Tri-State event I attended (Steve Goodman, Darren and Wayne (afvair))

THANK YOU CNM, it was a good weekend, weather was nearly perfect (only smoke from faraway fires gave a haze sometimes) and the Corvair attendance was great. I will let Russ and others from CNM give everyone details, just wanted to say THANK YOU.

Russ,Steve and all,

I wish I could have been there. My father passed away, and with funeral arrangements, etc. etc....just could not get "it all together" enough to make the trip.

I thought about that fun show though, all weekend and wished I could have been there. I did do one corvair thing on saturday though: I got my car up on the stands to look for an exhaust leak on my turbo car. I have only been getting about 3-4 pounts boost with my new SU carb.

Well...I found the leak, where the crossover pipe bolts to the right side exhaust manifold,lots of black exhaust marks on the pipes there. Lots of boost going out that pipe. .

Put the wrench on the bolts and sure enough it was loose...BUT, while tightening it up, the bolt broke. ANY VENDOR OUT THERE SELLING EXHAUST LOGS WITH STAINLESS PIECES ALREADY INSTALLED?
