95 hp harmonic balencer

I've got a '66 95hp engine with a solid crank pully. Is this the way they came from the factory or should I replace it with a rubber mounted one?

Dunno about a 95HP, but my 110 has the rubber, I replaced as it was seperating and ate it's way through my oil filter, spraying oil all over the engine compartment eye popping smiley I thought they only used the solid on Earlies, but I'm sure someone here knows more than me.

Solid pully is a sure sign of a 95hp engine (at least among the 164CID engines.

..the 1964 '95hp' was the only one to get the cast 1-pc 3 spoke piece AFAIK...you SURE the engine is a 66-95hp?,,it could have had the 2-pc one which was replaced by the 'no-fail' 64 one..leave it on IMHO..

95HP w/MT have a solid pulley, 95HP w/PG have a harmonic balancer from the factory.

I've got a 65 engine that has the three spoke pulley. I'll pull the numbers and see what Clarks says.

Tom Z, No, I'm not sure it's out of a '66, I'm only going by what the PO told me. Ratt, I look forward to your Clark's inquiry. This engine is slated for a '68 with PG. Sounds to me like either one would work.
