Free to a new home....with a catch!
Posted by: strykerld ()
Date: July 17, 2014 05:58PM

When I purchased my 66 Monza it came with a extra auto trans. Previous owner said it was not for my year. Something about the speedo cable being in a different spot. Also there was no real info on it's condition except for the fact that it looks
clean and undamaged on the outside.

So here's the deal. Free to someone close to the 45015 zip. Too heavy to ship. The catch is that it is for someone that has a REAL need for it. NOT for someone just to try to sell it on. PM me if your interested. I can get pics if needed.

I would take $10 to make it go away. If that's what it takes to move it.

You need to look at the date. The parts you asked about was from 2 years ago. Best way to see if he still has them is pm him. He will most likely never see this request, you've made. HTH

Okay, here are the parts I can pay forward (I'll update this list tomorrow morning):

3 crosshafts (will check years)
2 64 reverse light housings and 1 64 brake housing (4 lenses and trim)
2 64 monza quarter badges, 2 64 spyder quarter badges, and 1 64 turbo emblem
1 complete 64-69 (non-smog) air cleaner assembly
1 65-67 500 bench seat with locking folding backs
2 65 and 2 66 monza hub caps
1 61-63(?) dog dish
A few seat belts
Artesian turquoise deck lid and hood from a 68 coupe
95-110 crossover pipe and muffler in useable condition
Full set of LM brake shoes (I need to check P/n's)

I am hoping to trade/pay it forward for leads on any of the following cars:
- 1963 700 coupe (preferable PG, but any trans is ok)- my dad had a gold 63 700 PG coupe and college and he and I have been hunting for one for a while
- 1962-1964 spyder (black with a red interior would be awesome)
- 1960 coupe (500 or 700) preferably 3 speed or 4 speed swapped
None of these cars need to run, have nice floors, or be in anything close to good condition. If you recall, there was a guy who found a complete 62 spyder in Roanoke- I am looking for stuff in that state of repair.

Have lots of interior panels, cabinets and doors, and other stuff from gutting several Ultravans over the years (hey, it wasn't MY idea to completely gut them)
Storage for years is over, so out it all goes. Sadly, it is all destined for the trash if SOMEONE does not save it!(cherrywood formica)
all is free, must pickup here in oregon thanks! craig lamond UV 001
