() Date: January 08, 2011 07:04PM As the title says I'm doing some winter resto on the wagon and have to remove the front beltline trim. What I have is a hodge podge of fasteners some of which I'm sure are homemade. Not even sure what should be factory at this point. I'm looking for a source of new or used clips and some insight on what went where. Anyone have a stash of used ones they want to sell? Thanks for looking folks! () Date: January 09, 2011 12:37AM pretty sure that is a standard GM clip used on GM's in the 60's. Are you talking about the ones on the trunk lid and front edge of the fenders? The studs that have an almond shape with the springy fingers facing in opposite directions? Kind of like spiral galaxy on a stick! ![]() Marco A 2nd Gen Monza Wagon, a 2nd Gen GB 8door, a 2nd Gen (61's were 1st Gen) R/s and a 62nd Gen Turbo coupe.. () Date: January 09, 2011 05:06AM Those would be some of the ones Marco. There are also some plastic push ins where you can't get to the back side and a differant variety on the trunk lid piece. Re: Need EM beltline moulding trim clips. Posted by:

() Date: January 09, 2011 08:32AM Your "better" FLAPS stores might have what you need. There's a store near me called BAXTER'S that has just about every type of body clip/ fastener you can imagine. Some Auto paint stores have selections also. Re: Need EM beltline moulding trim clips. Posted by:

() Date: January 09, 2011 10:24AM California Corvair, or whatever they are called now had them when I did mine in 04 Clarks or CU didn't have any instock.. 61,62,63 had plastic clips in places where you couldn't get to the backside. I replaced all 60 some clips with new push in type.. Spend the extra few bucks and get ALL NEW ones.. some old ones hold tighter then others and then the looser ones rattle...
