Thanks! I had a hard time removing the rear window trim on a parts car, never did get all the pieces off. Next time I'll be ready!

Great video! The right tools make all the difference. Love that can opener idea.

Dave,
Thanks so much for the video. I have one question, where did you get the two tools you were using? (No not the can opener! I love that use BTW)

Great video Dave! I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise. I bought a couple of tools from Clark's years ago... I thought that they were for removing trim but they don't look like yours, as I recall. Have to take another look and compare.

Anyway, thanks for the education! Kudos to the "Kid" for nice camera work!

Great video! Will definitely help newer people get that trim off!

?i don't even know how my dad got the window trim off, I got up one morning and it was gone! gg. I would be afraid to pull on the drip rail like that though, I'm pretty sure the back half of my drivers side rail is all bondo.

Teaser... Wait 'til you see the challenge that is my windshield next week.

I used a few corn-dog sticks and a chunk of depleted uranium to slide the clips on the pegs that stick out of the sheet metal (They're 'diagonal') - that removes the tension and the pieces slip right off.

Haven't done gutter rail, yet.

Dave,
Thanks a million for the video; I always wondered. Like most folks, I'm anxious to see the reinstall w/o messing up a new paint job.
Thanks again!

That great video came along about a month too late for my driver's side rain rail. It's beyond repair. But, the passenger side came off quite nicely with the can opener I modified this morning. Thanks!!!
