() Date: November 08, 2010 05:23AM The mounting looks the same as what I have now. How can one tell if they are earlies? Also the date code. 67? Dann Re: WTB 1965 NOS Corsa Delco (grey) front spiral shocks Posted by:

() Date: November 08, 2010 05:44AM Those have 'flat' tabs on the bottom for mounting with 2 bolts. The lates have a tube and mount with one bolt. Texas YENKO Dude YS-070 YS-199 YS-320 Southeast of Disorder ![]() Re: WTB 1965 NOS Corsa Delco (grey) front spiral shocks Posted by:

() Date: November 12, 2010 01:56PM Just an idea... Back when I was in school in Up-state NY. and didn't have much money... I found a free pair of early shocks. I cut the flat tabs off the bottom mounts and pressed them out. I then pressed out the bottom tube from my old late model shocks and pressed them into the bottom of the earlies. I had to find a washer to back up the rubber so that the pressing would not dislodge it from the shock eye. It actually worked and I had shocks for my 1966 that lasted until it rusted away! As hard as the spiral shocks are to find... perhaps this would be worth a try. Corventure Dave Re: WTB 1965 NOS Corsa Delco (grey) front spiral shocks Posted by:
