() Date: August 01, 2010 05:38PM Just got email today! Hi Guys! I work for a large tire distributor here in Louisville. I talked to our Firestone rep when he was in the other day and asked him to see if he could find out what the situation was on the P185/80R13 Firestone FR380 tires that no longer seem to be available. He checked and says that the molds have not been destroyed and that they currently have 5,800 tires in this size on factory backorder. The tires are built in Costa Rica. He said that there is no scheduled production date for this size at this time (5,800 tires is a relatively small amount) and he feels it could be several months at least before they are scheduled. Nevertheless, this does offer us some hope for those who need 13 inch tires. I will let the list know if and when these tires are scheduled to be produced again. () Date: August 02, 2010 09:05PM According to the Firestone dealer that I got my 4 from, I may have purchased the last 4 in Washington state. They had 3 and had to get #4 from another shop somewhere in the state. Took 2 days to find the fourth tire and 4 days to get it. I had tried Sears, who was advertising them cheap, but they had to order them and couldn't tell me when they would be in. Ended up being $363 mounted and balanced. Kinda high, but better than the 30 year old rotting hulks on the rims at the time. 1964 Monza 1963 Spyder Coupe Bellingham, WA Re: Good News 13" Tires!! Posted by:

() Date: August 12, 2010 03:51PM Guardsman III (P185/80R13 90S) were on the original 4 wheels. I needed a spare and purchased a "Kingstar Radial" (P185/80R13 90S) at Les Schwab Tires. I was surprised how close the tread patterns matched! The Kingstar likely is off-shore knock off, but as a spare it will work fine.
