Question how will you tie in your A/C? Will you use another blower motor? And run it completly seperate? Love the work and the thread.

No A/C, just Astro Ventilation. I haven't worked that out yet...
BUT, if I were to put in A/C, I would probably use a (rare) rear aux. unit out of a 70-80's GM van in place of the heater box. They were mounted above the rear doors. I saw a Ford unit today, it is mounted to the side, behind the driver

I Just Have To Say- Dave Decker, You're The MAN !
He dropped this off at the shop a few days ago, I spent 1 hour staightening it(except for that one grille bar, as I plan on cutting them out). Original paint, and, oddly enough, the same original colour as the rest of the parts that were replaced 20 years ago.
And YES, it is from a 66 Corsa !!thumbs up

Centre section of the grille-

All Original paint details !-

I now have a 65 Corse rear grille that I do not need(but I DO need a chrome bezel for the 66...)

The difference in the mounting between the 65 & 66

Au Contraire my brother. Only he who is TRULY the man would pass the title on to someone less worthy. I'm going to trailer my car down to your place and have it done properly. That fiberglass work looks great, you're a whirling dervish. I'd need to have a Red Bull IV to match your progress! I've got a '66 Corsa insert but I don't remember what kind of shape it's in. I'll have a look. Cheers, Dave

Very Nice! I am interested to see a picture of your whole car. Do you have any of it? I am interested in how the lines are changed with that chop? It is hard to tell without an overall view. You have a lot of good ideas going on there.

Do you use a glass roller to get those great results? I seem to get the glass to hot or to cold and have to rush or wait for it to cure. Very professional.

A-I, I don't let it out very often, but here's pics with no doors -

Someone on here did a photoshop pic of it with a door on it, but I cannot find it

That really looks good! I have not figured out how to chop my vert. I plan on a roadster though. I like the hood too, among many other things. Great job.

Sometimes you can spend hours and only progress, other times you make good headway I spent all night just fiddling around, making it all fit & work & alot of figuring on future stuff...
But I ended up moving my air duct forward 1 1/2", so I built a little sleeve out of metal for the back end of the duct. Maybe I won't be so lazy, and lengthen the tunnel properly out of f'glass. This Console is taking up ALOT of time !!!
Here is the sleeve in place-

The Shifter fits with little room to spare-

2 1/2" of room for the Coolant Pipes-

This is the next piece I have to build. It needs to be shortened somewhat, and offset 2"...

My whole intention of putting centre vents in the dash is to be able to direct heat towards the occupants. Heat blasting towards your hands that are on that cold steering wheel is a nice thing to have. The stock original centre vent does not provide this adjustability, so-
Here is a vent that just snaps into place, no screws, will fit my dash(no padding) perfectly, fully adjustable, smaller than my Monte vents, but has a Ford p/n on it...-

..looks like the same vents as in my 91 Aerostar.

Excellent work man! Nice to see the details to inspire us with our own projects.

Pics of the f'glass rollers I use, the white ones are only used to wet out the 'glass, the black rollers work very well, & the small rollers are for tight corners-

A pic of the electric fans I had planned on using, they are from a GM, but I might buy aftermarket fans if these do not flow enough-

Really nice work Al thumbs up

Which brand resin and hardener do you use? And which types of fiberglass matt? Also how many layers did you use in the above piece?

Ignore my questions if I'm asking you to give away your trade secrets. gg
