() Date: February 09, 2012 12:11AM [www.icab.de] iCabMobile works. You will need another app to resize the pics! Just get a photo editing app like PhotoPad or similar to resize the pics. Then just use the "attach a file" button above. Easy as pie! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/23/2013 11:57PM by MattNall. Speedi- Sleeve for Crank seal Posted by:

() Date: February 12, 2012 03:56AM SKF Speedi Sleeve 99303. This sleeve should be easy to find as it also fits something in a DANA axle used in Dodge pickups. Cliff Tibbitts Lexington, KY _____________________________________________ Clock Repair Diode install Posted by:

() Date: March 09, 2012 03:27AM Get a 1N4001 to 1N4004 diode from Radio Shack. Connect it across the coil terminals inside the clock. Make sure the end with the silver band goes to the positive side. The purpose is NOT to conduct in the normal direction, but to quench the back EMF when the contacts open. Attachments: ![]() ![]() Wiring Color Codes '60-65 Posted by:
MattNall
() Date: March 09, 2012 03:56AM The colors indicate the type of circuit. For example, black with a pink stripe is switched 12 volts in '65 and prior (I think). The '65 and prior wire colors are: B (black) B/LG (black w/light green stripe) B/LBL (black w/light blue stripe) B/P (black w/pink stripe) B/OR (black w/orange stripe) B/W (black w/white stripe) B/Y (black w/yellow stripe) BRN (brown) DBL (dark blue) DG (dark green) PPL (purple) R (red) T (tan) GY (gray) W/OR/P (white w/orange and pink stripe) I believe that in 1966 the black with stripe became solid colors (e.g., black w/pink became pink). Anyone know the code? Dave Keillor Rochester, MN Quick and cheap Half Valve Cover for Hot Adjustment! Posted by:

() Date: March 15, 2012 09:20PM Posted by: jimdespres (98.245.235.30) Date: March 15, 2012 01:36PM I just got done with repacing tube seals and doing a hot valve adjustment with the engine running. I didn't have a half valve cover to catch the oil so I went to the grocery store where I bought A 15" long aluminum baking pan and fashoned the half head myself with a pair of scissors, a hammer to flatten the rolled edge of the pan, and a 1/4" drill bit to make the holes to attach it to the head. I can't believe how good it worked! It dripped maybe one or two drops and contained all the splash from the valves within the half cover. It took only 10 minues to make and made for a clean job. Anyone can tell me how to ad a picture ot it here I'll put it in. All you ever needed to know about electric fuelpumps, regulator and Safety Switches Posted by:
