() Date: May 07, 2009 07:01PM Someone mentioned here or on VV today, www.oldcarandtruckpictures.com, and I haven't been to that site for a year, so I checked out the Corvair page. The first picture is a 1960 coupe 2 door hardtop, no B pillar. ( no, I don't want to start a coupe, sedan, roadster, hardtop war.) It looks like a period correct photo. Prototype maybe? It looks great! Tom Re: 2 door hardtop EM? Posted by:

() Date: May 08, 2009 08:58AM It appears that GM made several prototypes and fiberglass design studys of the Corvair. I am still looking for a pix of a 2 door C dan prototype... May have been called a 300 Anyone? Re: 2 door hardtop EM? Posted by:

() Date: May 08, 2009 09:27AM Curtis, I saw that too, but it's hard to tell with the trees and shadows in the background. That "pillar" appears to have a slight angle, not like the real thing. Whatever it is, I think it looks great, almost like a slight top chop. Tom Re: 2 door hardtop EM? Posted by:
