Craig replies:
Yes it seems to be the same car and what a nice one. The original invoice shown in one of the pictures shows the buyer was Duane Bassett. The owner back in 2008 was Bonnie Bassett; likely Duane Bassett was her husband or father.

I worked on a low miles '69 just like that in about 2011 for a guy from Winona which is close to Wisconsin. He trailered it around and changed to aluminum wheels. It seems like it could be the same car but the owner's name is different. I suppose there's a lot of '69s around that color and people seem to have a penchant for keeping them low miles.

Someone has spent a lot of money on an apparent cosmetic restoration and now trying to recoup their money. My opinion only. Actual miles?

Update this car. I know the older guy from Winona,MN he sold it this past summer to someone in Nebraska for $20,000 .I looked car over this spring and all smog equipment had been removed and trunk was painted just Flat black.Paint was good but it had been repainted and interior had issues and radio didn't work. The fellow that owned it believed because miles where low it was worth a lot.We all know about low miles?Ever seen opening of Movie USED CARS you what I mean.

So I gather the Wisconsin Corvair in this thread and the Winona Corvair now in Nebraska are two different cars.

The $28,000 Ebay link above may be the Winona Corvair. The trunk is flat black and the address is Sioux Falls which is close to Nebraska.

Is it possible that it's the same Corvair? Wisconsin Corvair was 2008, Winona guy had it in 2012, during his tenure switched to aluminum wheels.

No same car just different wheels now.The trunk is still same paint as I saw earlier this year and motor in picture is same no smog items. Here is what I saw on back seat top rear was discolored from sun? or something. When I showed owner my 69 and how trunk should look be couldn't believe it.I might say my 69 at 2018 National Convention in Pittsburgh had ZERO deductions for trunk in Concours. No I didn't judge it.Even thought I am former Concours chairman and Master Concours Corsa Judge.
When I said Nebraska I believe I was mistaken. The fellow from Winona who owned car stated it was sold to a person who wanted to put it his collection .Another fellow in Wisconsin did work on the car so it was running good last I saw it.
