3/16 line is probably the most difficult to double flare. I just did my conversion. I did a slight 45 degree bevel on the double flare edge after using the pipe cutter and that seemed to help.

Do yourself a favor an duplicate what Chevrolet did on the 68 & 69. Make life much easier. Hardest thing is making the tight bend turns for the 2 tubes and the "D shape hole for the second thru wall fitting.

Perhaps the issues of Corvair Underground should be broken off into a new thread. Maybe, that way, it will get some attention. I still have not gotten a reply to my emails, and I think others have not either. Anybody want to do this?
