() Date: March 15, 2008 05:28PM Thanks for the offer Chris. I may take you up on it another weekend though. Next Sunday is Easter and we have out of town guests coming (what fun ... not!). On another note, I'm worn out. I just spent 6 hours in a failed attempt to change the rear struts of my Buick. I'm just lucky that I didn't injure myself, and stopped when I realized the tools Autozone loaned me wouldn't work (and on returning to the store they didn't have the correct tools). If I had unbolted that transverse leaf spring and attempted to unload that spring with the tool they gave me, I don't know what would have happened. I guess this one will be left to the professionals. Tom C NTCA CORSA '63 Monza Convertible Re: Tips needed for Cleaning, Polishing, and Waxing my Corvair Posted by:

() Date: March 16, 2008 09:54AM OH, another good tip for just maintaning... Capt Richard's Best (formerly knows as the 'BOM'). It's a spray detailer taht works on everything - paint, chrome, glass, plexi, vert top... You can have your whole car detailed in less than 1/2 hour. Spray on, wipe off... Excellent stuff - I use it on every job that leaves my shop... Pat Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. | ||||||||||||||||||
