() Date: May 22, 2023 05:42AM I did the Clark's kit on my 66. Very easy. Al Georgia Re: Front Drums to Disc Posted by:

() Date: May 22, 2023 08:55AM I did Scarebird brackets and GM Metrc calipers. I pieced together my own "kit" and made my own brake lines. The only special tools were the line bender and flaring tools. If you want things to go as smooth as possible, you should consider buying a "pre-engineered" kit but either way it's well within a DIYer's skill set, Note: If your front end has never been apart, be prepared to deal with a lot of stuck bolts and fittings. A link to the posts on my experience is in the link above. James 65 Corsa SF Bay Area Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/22/2023 08:59AM by jamesolefjensen. Re: Front Drums to Disc Posted by:

() Date: May 24, 2023 09:31PM I used Michael Leveque's brackets with 4x4 S-10 rotors and 2wd calipers. Stop straight ever time wet or dry, slow stop or panic stop. No way I would go back to drums after being spoiled by the front discs! I used his stainless steel hoses as well, worked great! 1964 Monza Coupe 1965 Corsa 140 1967 Monza Coupe Maryville, TN U.S. 129 The"Tail Of The Dragon" Edited 1 time(s). () Date: May 25, 2023 11:13AM I think the first question that should have been asked is, . . . . WHY do you want to convert to disc brakes? -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Front Drums to Disc Posted by:

() Date: May 25, 2023 04:46PM My 68 had Disc, my Rampside had Disc , my 64 stops, stops straight but if there was a simple disc kit that retained the stock wheels I would seriously consider it.
