38th Annual Tri-State Corvair Meet
Salida, Colorado

The Pikes Peak Corvair Club (PPCC) in Colorado
Springs, Colorado is hosting the 38th Tri-State
meet in Salida, Colorado May 19th-21st, 2023.

The pet friendly host hotel is the newly renovated Hampton Inn & Suites located at 785 E. Highway 50.
The club has secured a Tri-State
special rate of $119/room plus tax for either a
King room or a double Queen room. Breakfast is
included. Additional Thursday and/or Sunday
reservations can also be made at this special rate
for those wanting to come early and/or stay late.

A Show & Shine car show will be held Saturday morning from 9-1 at the adjacent car dealer’s parking lot.
A special attendee you won’t want to miss will be "SeeMore" - PPCC’s cutaway 1966 Corvair four-door. Saturday afternoon will be free time to explore nearby wineries and breweries, do some local hiking, or take a scenic drive along the Collegiate Rockies.
The Saturday evening banquet will be held at the
Chaffee County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall, just
west of downtown on Highway 50.

Looking forward to being in the Rocky Mountains. For those that don't know Salida is a small town
on US Highway 50 surrounded by about 5 14ers creating some fabulous views. And just like last years
Tri State Meet most of us will be driving thru rain and snow. Looking forward to seeing friends and
Corvairs and the local folks this weekend in Salida.

Wish I could be there! Both my brothers (that live in Colorado) were planning to attend, but now will both be at a wedding in Moab this weekend. Bummer.

My middle brother's car is even in Salida already!

Had a great time in Salida. I heard the count was 43 Corvairs including a real Yenko Stinger.
The only snow and rain I encountered going there and back was in Pagosa Springs-rain- and
on Wolf Creek Pass- snow. No surprise for either. I know a few people did not show up due to
the inaccurate weather forecast of rain. At the show it was all sunshine all day. Great seeing
all the cars and friends and Pikes Peak Corvair Club did a great job all the way around. Looking
forward to next month in Wisconsin and next year the Tri State will be in Las Vegas NM.

Yes Phil, next years Tri State meet will be held in LAS VEGAS NM. A little north of Sant Fe.
