Hello all. I found these at Opentracker Racing and they are a fantastic replacements for the rubber strut rod bushings. I used them on my 66 Monza. The idea came from the old mustang kits that John sells. I worked with John on putting together an exact fit, just bolt in kit. Just clean your threads up, give it all a little grease and bolt it all back together. You may need to do a caster check after but if you do a few precise measurements before tear down you should be really close if not spot on. I don't know if John supplies an instruction sheet but I used 2 of the black jam nuts on the forward side of the rod and the silver crush nut on the back side of the assembly.

No they should not rattle like a mono-ball with it's built in clearance.
The Delrin face to spherical washer has a preload on it if installed correctly.
I just wish the website was built such as to actually buy the product !!!

The Delrin bushing may not be noisy in and of itself, BUT..... undoubtedly, it will transfer more road-noise than rubber will.
Just like using any of the other solid mounting suspension pieces.

Phil how far where you able to get when trying to purchase these? I went on the site, added to cart, went into cart and proceeded to checkout. I didnt complete it but it looked like it would work. If you cant get that far maybe you need an update to your browser. I have had banking apps stop working correctly through firefox. Had to install Chrome which I hated to do butt.....

These are not primarily for stock road cars.
Besides, my cool exhaust system covers any noise these may make !!

This is John from Opentracker Racing. I want to let you-all know that these mono ball bushings are new to the market, we've sold a few of them & haven't had any fitment issues so far. If anyone here has a fitment issue, please let me know by email through our website so we can fix the problem.

66midmonster and I did the initial testing on these so he deserves a lot of credit for getting these to be a thing. Turns out, the 62-67 Nova uses the same strut rod bushing so if anyone has an early Nova, these'll work on those cars too.

These should fit '62-'69 Corvairs shouldn't they?
I was able to order a set no problem.

I'll give a report when I install them. It may be a while. I've got to setup my blaster and get some parts for it to clean up the front end for paint.

Do the Delrin parts need any clearance or pre-load?
