() Date: April 30, 2023 07:09AM 6 days in and we just went over $3000 on the way to the $5000 goal. ![]() I posted this fundraiser to the Chevrolet Corvair Group on MeWe, a social media alternative to Facebook. If those of you who are active on social media sites would post this fundraiser it might help and certainly cannot hurt our efforts. ![]() Dean F. () Date: May 01, 2023 10:27AM New forum development status... Posted by: AlecCarlson () Date: April 13, 2023 04:09PM We eventually got the account info and moved the corvaircenter website to a new hosting service. This was finally completed sometime in January. With this done, we went back to Driven2 to see if they were still interested in our conversion project. They came back and said "yes, but the price is now $950". And you've now raised $3000 ? () Date: May 02, 2023 04:57AM That is correct. There are additional expenses involved in this project such as setting up our new internet host and paying monthly fees for that. There may be additional fees in our migration to new software. There will be new expenses involved in setting up the new CCF when the migration is done and testing is finished. Thank you all very much for your support. Danny is correct. As I mentioned in my original post, any excess money donated will be used to pay off our existing debt and cover future CCF expenses. Website hosting is not free. Domain name registration is not free. Forum backup support is not free - especially when it exceeds 25GB of data. I'm going to post an update on our fundraising later today - along with another poll. Check back later and add your 2 cents... Alec Alec Dahlonega, GA 1965 Corsa Convertible Turbo 4-Speed Restoration "In Progress" ![]() Re: CorvairCenter forum GoFundMe webpage ![]() Posted by:
