anybody running American racing salt flat rims on a late model convertible?

I am shopping rims for my turbo and these keep catching my eye.
Thinking 17X7 would fill the wheel opening.

Cool wheels, but at $1000 a set of 4 , I would rather have a Halibrand copy.

yeah, they are a little on the expensive side. I'm looking for a better price.
I'm not sure I am sold on the center caps, I will have to see what options I have there.

Rims can change the look of a car so drastically that I want to be very sure of my choice before I get my wallet out.

I am just about to buy these rims and need to make sure they will fit without rubbing.

I do have front disks so that may play a factor in my offset.

The rims are 17*7 with 4"backspace.

looks like the best tire size for over all Hight is 205/45-17. I dont think I can get a 215 in there.
