Still not a published meal price for a kid at the banquet!
Been asking for years to include it in the registration. Kids can compete in events that have awards at the banquet, so I bring mine...some conventions, we have been able to work out a kids meal, some I've paid full price

Especially with this convention being at a Waterpark - we should be making it as kid-friendly as possible.

So rally participants have to just hope for a table assignment as those are done again while we are out doing the rally?

To be honest, that sucks...

Problem is that there is no correct designation for the body style of my car. It's none of the listed menu items and there's no other choice allowed.

I've noticed the "more info" button on the page doesn't work - just an error message.

This isnt really new....I typically have someone else get my table assignment - example, another club member not participating in the rally.

No it's not new, but what if you are the only one from your club... Just poor planning on CORSA's part... Surely there could be a better time.

Won't keep me from going to the event, but just one of those things that make you wonder. Kinda like the awards on Friday with People's choice on Saturday.

I'll just back away and STFU...

Fully agree that there could be a better time - like at Registration? Sort of like why I tried the Ed Cole only one time....no time to have fun at the convention - too busy prepping for every event, cleaning the car, etc, for all the other events. I plan on spending as much time with the kids, in the pool, as possible at this one! I mean - we'll likely do the rally or EconoRun, and the Autocross, but not all.

Hope there is more kid-friendly stuff. The only way I can make it work is to bring my kids.

New Glitch:

I'm logged in with my CORSA membership, but when I try to view the schedule it says "You are not authorized to view this resource" and offers me Corsa membership, even while the top of the page says, "Logout [here]" indicating that I am in fact logged in.

Glitch. Log it.

EDIT: Yep. I double checked. On my membership page it says, "Your CORSA 12 month Paper Member (USA) membership expires on February 29th, 2024."

Just got my hotel reservation!! SO happy to get a room. No more rooms left in the main hotel but I managed to get a great rate in their Villas which are adjacent to the hotel (see map) and actually nicer with kitchenette and a murphy bed.. So I may bring my mom along who hasn't had a vacation in 40 years. Been to the Dells several times 18 or so years ago. It's a great place so my recommendation is maybe do just one of the car events and spend the rest of the time checking out the sights.

This will be my first ever CORSA event. Sadly, my Rampy won’t be ready to drive there - but I’ll bring photos. My whole family is coming with me.

Any tips from veterans of the event?

Regarding registration - I see the form in the May Communique.

So, I am the CORSA member. Will be attending with wife and (adult) kid.

I pay for convention registration for ME. And then the $10 ea. for "additional adults"?

Then, they can be passenger/navigator in Econorun/Rally? (Yes/No)?

But, my son can't drive in the Autocross as he's not a CORSA member, is that correct?

Hmmmm new member deal is $30/incl. Corvair Basics book. So if kid needs to join to drive, he will do so. Probably drive his non-Corvair in that class as well.

Les this is my interpretation and I could be wrong. I think your adult son would need to be an independent CORSA member to participate in the autocross as a solo driver. I think he would also need his own convention registration for this as well, as he is an adult and would not fall under your CORSA "family" membership.

If he was just watching/riding along with the convention events, I think he would be fine as a $10 guest under your registration.

Les, now I am not so sure. Probably best to contact someone from the convention and ask directly. As I was doing my registration today I noticed this

"Convention registration includes registration for one adult. To register more one adult, select number of family members living at the same address who will be attending the convention with you. Only those who register will be able to participate in in convention activities. You will fill out one form for each member of your family, so each person can register for every event."

Which I would read that you can go ahead and register your son under your registration for $10. It will then take you to a second page where you can register him to compete in the autocross ($45) separately from you.
