Corvair Swap Meet and People's Choice Show

The Central Virginia Corvair Club will be hosting a Corvair swap meet and people's choice in Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday, April 15, 2023. It will be held at the Classic Car Center, 3591 Lee Hill Drive, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408 from 10 am to 3 pm. Bring your Corvair parts to sell or bring your Corvair to show!

There is no charge for selling or showing your Corvair. If you are going to show your Corvair we would like to know if you are coming by contacting me at wblanning@comcast.net or by PM. Pizza will be available to purchase on the premises at lunch.

Swap meet free to vendors: 10 am - 3 pm

People Choices Show:
- Free to enter your Corvair
- Classes and awards for Best EM, Best LM, Best FC, Best of Show
- Awards presented at 2 pm

Lunch: Pizza for sale per slice. Soft drinks & tea

The Classic Car Center is a large, modern facility that services, restores, sells and provides storage for collectible vehicles. While you are there you can tour their showroom and relax in their clean, beautiful customer lounge. Russell Davis with Blue Chip Tools will be bringing his Corvair specialty tools and parts for sale, including his newest item, a heavy duty yoke puller for EM and LM stub axle yokes. Puller bolt has 28 TPI for high torque with 5/8” hex head and 1” thick plate for strength. Lug on side to fit in EM swing arm to keep it from turning while pulling the yoke. See picture here.

He'll also have his compact harmonic balancer puller and seal installer, early model and forward control axle bearing puller, instrument panel and antenna bezel tools, idler pully easy access bolt kit, upper cylinder head nuts, cylinder head nut combination (upper & bottom) socket. I'll be bringing a complete set of LM convertible vibration dampers aka cocktail shakers to this meet. Good time for someone to buy them without having to pay shipping, Asking $50 for the set.

I also have a LM engine lid with '66 style 140 emblem and a 66 - 69 trunk lid (no emblem holes) I'll bring to sell if anyone is interested. The engine lid has no dent but has heavy rust on the top. The trunk lid has a slight dip in the center ridge, otherwise no dents. $30 each.

Frank, do you cut them off the original codes, on original blanks?

I can cut them off codes or by reading your worn key to fix worn errors. I can cut on Ilco blanks or Strattec (the new name for Briggs and Stratton) blanks that have GM on both sides.
