() Date: March 08, 2023 06:04PM As I understand it, the owner of this collection passed away and the family didn't want his stuff so they're auctioning it off. A lot of it is "No Reserve". Click the "No Reserve" button to check out what's available. Here is the website: [www.gaaclassiccars.com] Here is a nice '65 Corsa Turbo (claims it's a Yenko): [www.gaaclassiccars.com] Alec Dahlonega, GA 1965 Corsa Convertible Turbo 4-Speed Restoration "In Progress" ![]() Edited 1 time(s). () Date: March 08, 2023 06:26PM Very nice Corsa Turbo. They say it has Yenko graphics (which it does) - they don't claim it's an actual Yenko car unless I didn't see it in the listing somewhere. Re: Huge auction from a private collection Posted by:

() Date: March 08, 2023 06:30PM Looks like just the graphics to me too. There is no rear spoiler, no deck lid vents, no back pillar panel and it still has the Corvair badging. Re: Huge auction from a private collection Posted by:

() Date: March 08, 2023 06:54PM It has the rare white leather Corsa tires too! Joel Northlake, TX 5 Ultravans, 141 Corvairs and counting... ![]() Re: Huge auction from a private collection Posted by:

() Date: March 08, 2023 11:35PM You have to look at the decal on the side, it says Yenko SC! That is a company that Lynn Yenko put together because the "Yenko" name was trademarked by another company that bought the name. It is not a Don Yenko, Yenko. There were at least a dozen ‘66 COPO Stingers that did not receive any fiberglass parts, graphics or de-trimming from Yenko. Mark Gillespie believes it may as even been as high as a 1/3 of the cars. Many you see today did not start out looking like they do now. The only known one that still exists in this form, is my YS-025. All that aside, this car has nothing to do with a Yenko Stinger. () Date: March 09, 2023 11:21AM It hasn’t spent a day outside since September 2003 and I even put a correct 140 in it last year. I’m waiting on some floor parts from Steve Morton (rear seat pan), then I can put the new fuel line in I made last year as well. Mike YS-117 Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
