The door speaker and horn button delete (for weight saving) testify to its racing pedigree. Another racers secret is noticeable. Yes, what some would call "rust" is just a "hid in plain sight" weight reduction method all the top racers employ.

Makes me wish I had an extra 8000. The seller seems to know a fair amount of the last 6000 Corvairs made. Pennsylvania.

i like the chrome plated cutting edge technology, weight savings, carbon fiber bumpers and guards.
that and the PA sticker makes sense.

That's Brian Jackson from Phoenix. Probably selling to get funds. I'm sure he won't sell his dad's Rampside with the 180 turbo though. Brian is converting an early Mustang to Tesla power.

I'm not a fan of either of those but his videos of the project are pretty good so far.

Not according to the OP in the FB post.
One of the photos lists some Vairy dubious info about the "Factory Options" but it also lists "very molested" front fenders inside & out.

Yeah, I'll say!

But if it has Saginaw original Quick steering box and arms - that's a helluva bonus right there!

I love the sliding ragtop on the '69.

While the tubbed fenders dont look the best in front, he stuffed some huge tires under there, and got them not to rub for Autocross!
