Corvair Swap Meet and People's Choice Show

The Central Virginia Corvair Club will be hosting a Corvair swap meet and people's choice in Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday, April 15, 2023. It will be held at the Classic Car Center, 3591 Lee Hill Drive, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408 from 10 am to 3 pm. Bring your Corvair parts to sell or bring your Corvair to show!

There is no charge for selling or showing your Corvair. If you are going to show your Corvair we would like to know if you are coming by contacting me at wblanning@comcast.net or by PM. Pizza will be available to purchase on the premises at lunch.

The Classic Car Center is a large, modern facility that services, restores, sells and provides storage for collectible vehicles. While you are there you can tour their showroom and relax in their clean, beautiful customer lounge. Even if you do not plan to vend or show your Corvair, feel free to come socialize with us!

Rocco, bring the wine! I jest because Barboursville has a large winery (and the whole western area of Virginia is into wine as tourist area, Napa Valley just ignore this, since you all might make a few more cases a year, HA!).

Darrin, next time limp in and you will have a group repair, a tech session is always welcomed! Lots of parts in the area to be had for repairs.

Not like we have not had impromptu tech sessions at these gatherings to include tasks like transmission replacement.

Barboursville Vineyards is almost across the road from me, not even 1/3 mile, Horton’s Vineyard is less than a mile, and there’s at least 6-7 within a 5 mile radius, they’re everywhere. I’ve got a Corvair owning friend that owns a vineyard in Stanardsville, he’s got a 62 more door( and a ‘72 Dino 246 GT!) that he made roadworthy aftervit sat in someone’s front yard for who knows how long. I lived there for about a year, it was a few doors away from me, and since both my cars were still in illinois, I didn’t dare go ask about it. I’ll be sure to invite him to the show, I’ll definitely be there.

- Free to enter your Corvair
- Classes and awards for Best EM, Best LM, Best FC, Best of Show
- Awards presented at 2 pm

Lunch: Pizza for sell per slice. Soft drinks & tea
