Seeing reports for Serious Weather Warnings in the South East.
Makes our early Snow Storms look like a Cake-Walk.
You guys take care down there!

WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here.

It just passed over our house here in central Kentucky. As is often the case, it was way over hyped, at least from our perspective and according to the weather map, it went right over our house. Now, having said that, the folks in Arkansas weren't as lucky from what I've seen on TV. We'll know better in the morning when all the reports start coming in.

Heavy rains and some lightening, May for an eventful commute to work. I think Mississippi took the brunt of it.

Two minutes after posting this thread, the Power went out.
High Winds during our sub-freezing storm dropped a tree on a wire and everything went dead for the night.
Candles and Flashlights.
Power is back on now, thankfully.
Temps have come back above 32, but the wind-chill is still down in the 20's.

Temps in Kansas City dropped during the day yesterday from 61 degrees when I took our dog for his walk to 34 degrees at dinner time. There was no other weather, just wind. I guess it gusted to 44mph here in my suburb.

SE US can be a turkey shoot for nasty weather. We Normally go south in the RV for a few weeks to extend summer and have dodged storms over the years. We were at Myrtle Beach SC and canceled out to go on to Fl. Thought we were OK, but then it went out to sea again. The strike zone was getting very close to us and out running them has risks as well. We were on a beach front site. Finally decided to move to a dog friendly hurricane proof hotel about a mile inland. Got permission to move our rig to higher ground in the park. Came back to check on things the next day about an hour before the worst of it hit, then beat it back to the hotel. It flipped a toy hauler, my Bounder is about 150'in the back ground. It took out the end of the pier which hasn't been damaged since 1992. The worst of it hit about 40 miles south.
