You are talking about a Crown TURBO Exhaust Housing.
Correct?
(I can't think of any other "Exhaust Housing", but I don't know everything.)

I believe the exhaust packing was the same for 1964-66, even though the exhaust wheel changed for 65. That means either the early Crown exhaust housing or the late housing will fit your exhaust pipe - But you will have to specify which exhaust wheel you have in the turbo. Either the 64 or the 65-66. The housing has to match that, as well as the outlet pipe flange. Sometimes the turbos are referred to as the B-flow (62-64) or the F-flow (65-66). But that only indicates the inlet compressor size. (And it has been almost 60 years! Good luck.

Kaminski 45
I have a couple stock 62-63 B style type exhaust housings.
One of them I have modified to take the 4-69 Donut style gasket.
Allowing the use of a 64 style exhaust pipe.

Dryenko thank you but I have a 64 style B-flow exhaust housing. I am looking for the Crown version of the B-flow exhaust housing that accepts the 64 style donut gasket.

there was someone that modified exhaust housings by cutting the volute area, grinding them and then rewelding it to get a more responsive unit.

does anyone remember the gentleman's name?

Hello all: Jim Vickers used to do the cut/re-weld but I haven't seen or heard that name in quite a while. Maybe others too but Jim is the only one I recall.

best wishes, Steve
